About

Solo Beach is a nostalgic nod to the '70s, featuring a beach house and terrace, which was exclusively for members back in the day and is now a precursor to modern beach clubs.

These early beach house terraces were renowned for their excellent food, with dishes inspired by Mediterranean, Continental European, and Asian recipes, reflecting their members' global explorations. Members gathered local recipes from European coastal towns to remote Asian islands, ensuring a diverse and rich menu. It was these food and cultural exchanges that made the beach house unique during those times.

The early days of the beach house concept served as a foundation for Solo Beach.

The Solo Beach terrace overlooks one of Hua Hin's most famous streets - Naresdamri Road, the artery for day and nightlife, and offers direct access to Hua Hin Beach.

Solo Beach provides the perfect setting for late-afternoon relaxation and early sunset cocktails. It's a place where local neighbours, friends, and visitors gather to enjoy lounge seating, engage in delightful conversations, and savour a delicious dinner.

Drinks and cocktails are inspired by renowned bars in global cities, such as the infamous Negroni, El Nacional, Pina Colada and some local beach cocktail inventions. Moreover, SOLO BEACH offers a short wine list featuring touches of French and Italian Riviera charm with easy-to-drink wines.

Our global cuisine mirrors the culinary experiences of the owners who have travelled the world, sharing authentic and local tastes. SOLO BEACH its ‘ sharing cuisine ‘ offers patrons to order smaller seized plates to give the opportunity to experience several dishes and share their food stories.

The music transports you back to the '70s with tunes from The Drifters to The Beach Boys, seamlessly blending with today’s relaxing beach vibes.

As an interesting note, each beach house featured a lifeguard tower to ensure the safety of members enjoying a swim during and after happy hour. A lifeguard was always on duty, keeping watch over those taking a dip after a cocktail session. Solo Beach continues this safety precaution, but now focuses more on ensuring safety for those crossing the road.

The name "Solo" captures the spirit of individuality and tranquillity, offering a retreat where one can embrace the retro charm and serene atmosphere reminiscent of '70s beach culture.

“Solo” also refers to a ‘ soloist ‘ as one singer, an individual performer. A soloist may perform with or without accompaniment.  SOLO BEACH will feature some solo performers throughout the year.

The food concept – ‘ sharing cuisine ‘ - defines the global exploration of different cuisines that have taken the best of the local dishes available. Frank,  being a culinary expert , collected recipes from his global travel and past experiences in the best food places you can imagine.
